Since it's been five months since Nintendo released a NPC title, could this mean the end of the series? I hope not. There are still plenty of games that could be remade for the Wii.
Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour The Legend of Zelda: the Wind Waker Luigi's Mansion Super Mario Sunshine
All of which I'd gladly pick up.

I recall Nintendo Company Ltd. did confirm that there wouldn't be a second New Play Control! series at some point, sadly. I want all the games on your list too.
You can play all these games on your Wii, and they are great without new play control. Although they should make a special series for sunshine called: new camera control.
I don't know, but I would rather just have new games that are better with superior graphics than have games I own on gamecube remade with new controls.
Sadly there has not been a new play control thats come out I have been interested in. But then again there really is not a 1st party game I would buy that was New Play Control, especially if I already owned it.
Lieutenant Commander of the Lesbian Love Brigade
There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.

I'd rather see new games on the Wii of these same game serieses ie/eg. Luigi's Mansion 2, Mario Golf Wii; but I'd still pick the up as nw play controls.
"They say video games are bad for you? That's what they said about rock n' roll."
Well besides New Play Control Mario Power Tennis, i never saw any other New Play Control game sell (i know they sell well but not as well that Nintendo predicted), i myself don't mind if they return just as long as they make sell it cheap ($30) and release games that i don't own, all of the game that was re-released in the US i own in fact Chibi-robo is the only one that they announced back in 08 i think that i don't own so that's kinda shocking that it wasn't released and the Metroid titles being limited by Metroid Prime Trilogy is another story.
NPC games are a good opportunity for Nintendo to promote existing franchises to the Wii masses. Lets face it the Wii is a Gamecube with Motion Controls so it's an easy job to re-publish GC games on a Wii disc. Lets also face it, the GC wasnt a huge success. The Wii is and it's got a massive audience of varied people that will buy anything. NPC games were an idea for an easy buck for Nintendo but they ballsed it up. Mario Power Tennis was ruined, Jungle Beat was all about the Bongo's, Metroid Prime has come out as the Trilogy in the West and is a solid package but the new controls make it both easy but frustrating. The main push has been on the Pikmin franchise, seeing both titles get an NPC release with controls that are intuitive and feel just right for the games even if, like myself, you ploughed hours upon hours into the GC versions. Pikmin as we know, is typical Nintendo, which in this day and age is quite alienating to your typical FPS loving teen or Wii Sports playing gran. The NP{C releases are both a test and a potential advert for Pikmin 3. Pikmin 3 has only had a brief mention by Myamoto , one it is widely reckoned Nintendo regret. The releases of Pikmin and Pikmin 2 allow Nintendo to guage how a Pikmin game on Wii will fare in the current market and let them see if it's viable to roduce a 3rd Wii specific title. And if Pikmin 3 is in development, the first two titles act as a taster for those who havent played them before and create an buzz about a sequel.
It will never happen but I wish some third parties would consider NPC. Killer 7 would be perfect. Also, I wish Nintendo would release Chibi Robo NPC in the west.. sigh.
