Suda 51 has clarified his original statement. Saying that No More Heroes is NOT going to competing consoles. It will be for WiiHD.

I have to admit that the best part of this saga is the good use of the Wii remote, with a standard control it just another repetitive action game. Thanks for the post, it's good to know.

I'm glad Suda said what I've been thinking all along. When he made the comments about it not showing up on the Wii anymore, I figured he meant it would just return to Nintendo on their next system.

Did it really sell well enough to be called a hit? I think the sales were somewhat underwhelming.
