Some disapointing news from Joysiq.com today, they report: "Nintendo has stated it has no plans to release other colors of Wii in the US -- including the sleek black Wii launching in Japan on August 1. A Nintendo rep informed GameDaily of the devastating news, which we, of course, will take with a brick of salt. We know Nintendo to be a lie factory about its products, so we'll wait and see. Once -- if -- Wii sales ever drop off, we expect a freakin' deluge of Wii colors" This is a minor let down, but still a let down. Any mention of whether it will come to the EU? If not I'm tempted to import the Monster Hunter tri bundle, then i could also try out some Japan only games. Gonna cost a fortune though I expect so I'd rather get one in the EU. Although it could become collectible in the future. Hmm decisions,decisions...............
I for one am more interested in the red DSi hitting a country with an English setting. So i can import. Even though I know basic Japanese. English is more comforting.
They'll come eventually. They won't now because the Wii is fine in North America, it's not fine in Japan.

Just thought people wanted to know, I know I did. and as far as posting two threads, 1. It is news, it was on a news site and 2. its about the Wii so I put it on the Wii forum. Sorry if that angers you. I won't post the same thread twice again, unless it's important! Thanks....
