Y'know, I play games to excite myself and forget about the real world, not to make myself more aware of the horrible things in the world.

This is shocking. Nintendo might be one of the best video game companies, but this is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen on the Wii. Just when we thought ideas couldn't get any stupider, this comes.

If Nintendo is all serious about fitness (which it seems they are) this was inevitable as soon as Wii Fit was anounced. Exercise is all good and well but without the ability to monitor both resting and active heart rates it loses a lot of its value. If your heart has to work like mad just to pump blood around your body when resting, you aren't fit. If you are exercising and your heart isn't elevated then you aren't exercising.
Even if its just mini-games about lowering your heart rate and doesn't cover the "you need to work harder" part of heart rate monitoring, I can see myself buying this. To me this probably has more value than Wii Fit.
I think this thing would work great with Wii Fit, and I can even see it working in a horror game. But the title Wii Relax has me a tad bit worried. Of course I'm not going to freak out about it; if you don't like the game, don't buy it.

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.
@pixelman: I do not think Nintendo can be innovative enough to give us an decent experience related to relaxing in a video game. This is coming from a person who's favorite company is Nintendo.
@SSBFan1999 because Nintendo could never come up with a good game product around this?
It could have things like a shooting gallery minigame. The lower you keep your heart rate (relative to your resting heart rate) the more targets come up and the higher your potential score is. There are heaps of cool little things they could do with this sort of game.
The meditation game in Wii Fit was the best. The peripheral has huge potential. My only problem with its E3 presentation was how poorly present it was. They needed to show or at least mention one possible application, and they failed even to do that.
But E3 is over, so that doesn't matter anymore. The possibilities are endless when you have the VItality Sensor on one hand and the Wii remote in the other. Games can create variables based on your heart rate so that enemies and environments react to how tense you actually are. Imagine a Resident Evil game where when you get scared your aim is shakier.
But if we're talking about WiiRelax only, I'd have to wait and see what it is before complaining about it. Wii Fit worked, somehow. This can, too. Relaxation time is important to me. I can't personally see wanting to relax with a video game, but I don't want to exercise with a video game either, and yet millions of others apparently do. I for one am looking forward to seeing this revealed.
