Topic: ninja gaiden arcade

is there any info as to whether Ninja Gaiden(arcade version) will make it to the virtual console arcade?

Nothing so far, but given they appear to be releasing every other version of it on the Japanese Virtual Console, I'd be surprised if it wasn't.

Sean: The arcade game titled "Ninja Gaiden" isn't exactly another version - it is its own game, not the same game appearing on the NES/SNES/PC Engine.

The arcade version was so much better than the console versions. I don't know why they didn't make them more lik the arcade orginal. Luckily, the Lynx version was based off the arcade.

I hope they release the arcade version- i remember putting plenty of coins into that machine as a kid- even though i was never good at it!

Just have rose-tinted lenses firmly in place. It's a nice side-scrolling beat-em-up, but it's quite difficult and may not be as brilliant as you remember. I used to suck at it back in the quarter-pumping days, but find I have a better grasp of what to do now playing it via VCA on the Wii; it's not going to be everyone's cuppa, though!

It would be nice to see it since it's a much different game than the NES version. In truth though it's not nearly as good as the NES version.

Insta-download for me if it does come to the US. Loved this one back in the day, there was one pizza place that used to have both this and Double Dragon. Suffice it to say that they got far more money out of us for the games than the pizza!

Nope! However, I'm thinking it might be the next game made by Tecmo to be released on the VCA outside of Japan.
