Topic: News on Cave Story?

Has anyone heard any news on Cave Story?

Apparently, Nintendo Power reviewed the game in the most current issue and highly reccomended it. It must be coming soon.

I know this is incredibly loony and out there, but I may just track down the online version since the WiiWare version still isn't out. I can't seem to find the english patch and the actual game, though.

Is that just the translation or is it the full game too?

You could always click and find out.

If you want it prepatched, download the "Deluxe" version and ignore the patches, but it also offers the Japanese game with a number of patches for different languages.

I've been holding out for it on Wiiware. I played it a bit on PC but I think I'll wait to play it with my wiimote and on my couch. It seems fun and the music is great.

not that it was in much doubt, but the word 'shipping' confirms that the finished game is totally in nintendo's hands. and has been since november...

"NightSky is pretty far along. All the design has been frozen, the audio is done, it plays great on Wii. We're in the last part of the development fixing bugs and tweaking things. It's this last 10 percent that can really take the game from a decent experience to a great one."
