Hello chums! Yes, you knew I'd surface sooner or later, here I am with questions answers.

@Ravage - You can switch weapons only when you're in the village or city areas. You don't have to create a new character if you want to try a different weapon, just change your equipment and you're golden

As for the OP, to be honest the Sword and Shield is probably the easiest weapon to get to grips with but if you're playing in a group then Bowgun is a godsend as it allows you to heal your teammates and deal damage and special status effects more easily than a melee weapon. You start off with SnS but once you've got the option, go for a Bowgun (there are some seriously nice ones to see ) and see if you like it.

Thanks Pro, I wasn't sure if you had to pick a certain class when you create your character and stick with it, good to know that I can experiment and switch it up when the situation calls for it.
