How does one get a friend code from his Wii?

In your address book theres a Wii number listed. Like 4567-9866-1989-8776 for an example.

That explains why I never found it

I was simply asking for some advice from people who owned PS3's here on this forum.
And i'm hardly looking for attention....why in Gods name would i want attention? its not like im getting money from that now is it?

And for those wondering.yes i am still thinking of selling the Wii.
It was a mistake buying one.
i payed €310 for the Wii and some games.
I could have bought a bloody PS3 if i kept the money.

Fix your mistake and sell the wii then.....We do not mind. We want you to be happy.

You have to admit, you are acting very erraticly and inconsistently. This would be an easy decision for me. If it is a mistake, fix the mistake

All jokes aside man, choose a course of action, and then "Use the boost to get through" it lol. So you're not getting the 360 its the PS3 now? Just hold and wait for a while, i think you should read more about these consoles, because in a few years you dont want to regret a new purchase.

My plan as of now is: Buy a ps3 slim when i can afford one (or get enough gift cards) and keep my wii so i dont miss out on some good wii games in the future that wont make me want it back (since ill still have it). However, i would sell some wii games like the conduit since with a ps3 i can get killzone or resistance, you know. Consider all the pros and cons, weigh your options, and most importantly, be way more confident than you are now about your decision.

I'm thinking along the lines of DaDun here. Drop the "fast food" mentality. The PS3 is a new console, heck they're still making PS2's, so the PS3 is going to be around for awhile. You have plenty of time to scrounge up a few hundred ducats to buy a PS3 this year or the next. If that means not getting a couple of new Wii releases, so be it. But do you enjoy the Wii? If you do, then stick with it. Then, when you can afford the PS3, get that one too. Heck, I have three consoles connected to my television. My PS1, my PS2, and my Wii. Sometimes I still break out my 3DO and play a game of Way of the Warrior (and I'm still pissed at my folks for selling the Colecovision I had growing up). Sometime next year (or gasp) the year after that, I'll get a PS3*. You don't have to sell your console. Things are rarely either/or.

*Oh, and before I get my PS3 I'm going to buy one last PS2 to set it aside in case my current one ever goes belly up (which is why I keep my PS1 attached, no use in making it do double duty when I have the original console for my PS1 games).
