Anybody remember Stunt Race FX? It was an awesome 3D racing game for the SNES, where the cars were more like bots and did some crazy stunts. Now you may be looking at my avatar and going "Heyyyy..." and yeah, that's what I'm getting at. It would be awesome if Monster Games put their Excite skills to the use to make a proper sequel for Stunt Race FX. It wouldn't need to be completely similar to the Excite games, but they could also combine the two series and make "Stunt Race EXCITE" or something. Can you hear that? The sound of awesome? It's so obvious, why hasn't Nintendo done it already? Or do they think it would be too similar to Excitebots, even if the physics, art style, vehicle selection and track design were different?
My guess is it didn't sell well enough to warrant a sequel. I enjoyed stunt race effects and would love to see a new one but it has been forgotten by most and its a racing game on Nintendo. If its not Mario kart then nothing really sells well outside of that.
