Topic: Metroid prime trilogy Multiplayer

Just wondering to the mods or anyone whos tried the mp2 echoes multiplayer feature with the wii controls thinks the multiplayer is any good and adds a lot of replay value in this trilogy bundle.

EDIT Please keep in mind ive played all 3 games individually already. Good multiplayer along with 3 games in one and artwork really would draw me to this 49 buck bundle. Especially multiplayer

From what I remember Echoes only had at the most six player maps and with the new Wii controls it looks better now than ever and I'm probably going to invest on buying it in the near future.
I had some great memories with the multiplayer but its sad corruption didn't have it as well.
oh and it doesn't have online multiplayer if you didn't already know

I don't know about the wiimakes( bad pun intended) but i'm one of the few who had a blast with multiplayer on the gc echoes so if it is the same with wii controls then I say heck yeah

either way for $50 the trilogy seems promising but i'm waiting for a review to see if it's worth getting if u have the gc versions and i'd recommend u do the same

Lol thanks for the info you two, im really struggling with thinking whether or not i should really buy this when i do already have all the games beaten or almost beaten (didnt beat the first, but have done corrupt 100% and echoes not 100% (and I dont keep my corrupt save file ) However, i am a multiplayer stickler so most likely i will buy this for that multiplayer chance, hopefully theyve improved it, no online is actually fine (i have medal of honor), and to me, james bond is getting a little lonely being the only offline FPS game on wii lol.

Just saw that now, sounds like a good plan, IGN has its review up though (video and written), they gave it a 9.5, ill see if i can post it now

you should beat the first it is my favorite one of the trilogy and i'd like to check out that review

I also had a blast playing multiplayer in echoes. We played that more than melee.
...then we went all hardcore on melee and we had these huge pro fights, most of the competition came from me and one other guy. I used Samus, he used Link.

How in the heck is there multiplayer in Metroid Prime 3 Corruption; or Metroid Prime 2 Echoes for that matter?! You've got me all confused?! Is there a secret mode where you can just blast friends in a 2 or 4 split screen thing; or is it just me that I haven't heard anything about it?!

@TheCrow IN MP2, there was a separate Multilplayer mode for 4 players. You started off with I think 2 maps then as you progressed in the single player you unlocked more. Quite fun.
