Topic: metroid prime 1 & 2 Wii releases?

is there any news and/or possibility of individual releases of MP1 or MP2 for the wii? Since MPT is discontinued and way too expensive, I was wondering if the originals may come to the wii.

They are only available in Japan.
Try to buy Trilogy used in Gamestop or amazon.

I doubt the originals will come to the Wii outside of Japan. Best bet its as Epic said check a used game store or Amazon for the Trilogy set, but like you said they can get expensive since it was just around for a limited time. Either that or just get the GC versions and play it on your Wii since the Wii is backward compatible with the GC. Of course if you are looking for the Wii control option then yeah you are going to probably have to pay a pretty penny for it.

I bought Trilogy for 20$ last year on ebay from a UK seller (he was selling a NTSC version). Only 5 or 6$ shipping! A real steal. If you look for the game on ebay, be sure to check international auctions.

i'd like it better if retro updated them for wiiU with HD and full wiimote customization. they'd get me to buy the games a third time over!

i don't think they need it personally, they still look and sound great! you can't improve that art direction aside from upping the output resolution to get rid of the jaggies.

i hate when people talk about trilogy...
