Ive never play a metriod prime game till this one....did i start to late to play this series or should i find the 2 game cube games first....i can say one thing this is the smoothest controlling first person game ive played on the wii....

You don't have to play 1 & 2 first though as previously mentioned I strongly suggest picking up a copy of the Metroid Prime Trilogy.
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption is a great game. Metroid Prime 2: Echoes is an outstanding game. Metroid Prime is a game that you need to play no matter what. It's not optional. You need to play it.
Try to get the Trilogy. If you can't, get the GameCube versions.
Metroid Prime Trilogy is totally worth it. It's probably the best compilation by Nintendo since Super Mario All-Stars. I wish they did they same thing with the Zelda series. (and yes, I know there was a limited edition compilation released on the Gamecube)

You're insane.lol grrrr. Anybody who hasn't played MP3 on a CRT SDTV which is lag free when set to 'advanced' in the MP3 control menu hasn't properly experienced Metroid Prime 3's controls. They're flat out amazing. You'd have to kill me first before going back to those horrible dual analog game cube controls for MP.
Maybe my memory of it is hazy, but Metroid Prime on the GameCube didn't have dual analog controls. I don't really like dual analog and I remember thinking Metroid Prime's shooting controls were the most comfortable ever (not that I play that many shooters), so I'm pretty sure it didn't. It had the "hold R then aim with left analog stick" (that snaps back to center when you lift your thumb pressure off like I wish dual analog was like) system.
One is never too late to play some of the greatest games ever made. The first game I ever played was Tetris on the Game Boy in 1990, and yet I didn't know anything about Nintendo's great accomplishments in the past.
Yeah if you like corruption then get the first two as well. Like others have said get the trilogy. It will be expensive but well worth it when you think about the fact you are getting 3 games. One of my favorite series only behind Zelda and not by much! The biggest complaint I ever here about it why do I have to do all this scanning? ! Well you don't have to if you don't want to know the story line but for some things you need to. Just like waveboy said I can't go back to analog control for pointing ever again. Not to mention that all the primes look beautiful. Even on the cube the games look great for the hardware!

I just beat metroid prine 3... But im surprized i only had 66 percent after i deafeated it....is that normal?...this my first metroid game ive played....
Yeah its normal. Some of the things you can get are not even available until you get your last items! Use your map now it should show you where everything is.
