Has it frozen for any of the NA players?

From what I've heard, they fixed it before the American release.

And I just tried it, and my profile was still there and including the levels and all the things I unlocked. So it's safe to update.

No freeze in NA version...
but i have several dips in framerates.

Carlos27, I have not seen dips in framerates even using supermax and espresso.
I have however encountered some bugs.

Being able to be thrown out of a marker drawing (usually related to speed or crash detection), respawning on top of a purple bad guy, being allowed to jump over something (like the space ship) and ending up in limbo.

However, it is not just in the WiiWare addition that this happens as it also happens on the PC even the demo that you can now download.

Except for the one time I was getting started on top of the purple guy.
I could press I think - and restart.
I also did not encounter bugs on a regular basis and had a blast playing this game.

The ending was also a big surprise for me as they apparently included my name in the credits without telling me anything.
I still think I am at 98% and need mostly speed runs to get 100%.

I however still have not seen the code for the Web download.

So please can someone confirm the European version has been updated to sort issues etc because when you go to download the game on the Wii Shop it does not say updated?

I did read the message on page 1 but when you come to download the game on the Wii Shop it does not say it has been updated. That is what i mean! I want to download this game but is it worth it?

You only see the updated message if you already have the game. If you still need to buy it (please do, it's a great game), then you automatically get the new version.

Really do, it's a great game and uses the remote very well. It's a lot of fun and pretty challenging.

yeah, new version runs smoothly and no freezing occured so far. also some speed issues where resolved. there is one level in world two with a volcano and a magma ball, which was fairly fast that got speeded down a bit, so you won't die pointlessly at this particular point.
great game.

This is on my list of wiiware games to get along with nyxquest. Played the demo version on their site and was pretty cool take on the whole drawing and physics thing.

I have already played through the game some time ago and I have had no freezes or lockups at anytime. Okay, I must admit the Framerate was horrible, far away from 60FPS and there are some minor glitches but overall it was okay for me.

Get both, NyxQuest is an awesome game too.

Finally got around to trying that demo...and all I have to say is "wow!" I had a blast just playing those few levels, everything from the physics, to the art style and music, just clicked with me. That demo pushed me from the "I will get it eventually" camp, over to the "buying this tonight" camp.
