I just bought Mario's Super Picross. I knew the game was Japanese but since I knew the game mechanics I didn't mind. However, there are whole dialogue scenes with Mario and Wario. Is there a translation somewhere available? Because I would really like to know what they are talking about.

Maybe either gamefaqs as Rukiafan said or maybe just google Mario Super Picross Translations and see what you get.

I checked gamefaqs and google, but couldn't really find anything (other then the translation for the object of the puzzles). Oh well, I better learn some Japanese then .

I don't know about translations either.

On a side note: There are some differences between the vc version and original version. Someone on youtube played the original version, and he finished a puzzle that showed the famous painting "the scream". However, at the same slot I find a totally different image. I think the scream has been replaced by a other image, maybe because of copyright.

Isn't The Scream too old to be copyrighted? (1893)
I think by US law, it would be expired (since the author died before 1978 (1944 specifically, according to Wikipedia), it is 50 years after death (1994).)
But I guess this would be about European copyright law.

I don't think European but Japanese. It's strange though that they have changed that one puzzle for VC but not change the language.

"Isn't The Scream too old to be copyrighted?"

I don't know.

"It's strange though that they have changed that one puzzle for VC but not change the language"

I agree.

Update: I have a question. I have just finished Wario Ultra mode, but I have a feeling there is even more. How can I unlock it?
Update 2: Never mind. I searched on the internet and discovered that the 12 small images are actually puzzles. And in the middle there is a 13th puzzle. Those puzzles where quite easy, I expected them to be super hard. Now I have unlocked another batch of puzzles. I think those really are the last ones.

It's a big game and very addictive. I love it!
Update 3: Totally done guys! All 300 puzzles done! I also looked on gamefaqs after beating the game, and discovered there are 3 puzzles changed in total. Why is everyone's guess!
