Hang on a minute, I thought all you hardcore retro gamers HATED casual party games trading off the back of a big name?
When they are modern retail games, sure.
Most of us were kids or teens who enjoyed these types of games when the Mario Party N64 trilogy came out. But most of the same people are dismayed with the modern games.
Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.

Number 2 has always been my favorite, and I want that on VC. I'm not sure if they will release Number one tho, due to the problems they had with the controls and finger ache!

I hate 8. I tried playing it with my friends and half way through our game, we got a minigame that glitched the game and forced us to stop playing. That was the first and last time playing it.
I Love part one the music and toads voice is classic member playing it non stop , didnt really get to play part 2 and 3 like i wanted , and im pretty sure everyone had blisters to show for cause theres no way when it came to those rotation games you wanted to lose. but i also loved mario party 7 i liked placing traps on the ground but thats not what id relied on but i hated "chance time" i always got screwed no matter what place i was in. do all the work and then one of my clown of a friends just get lucky at the end. mario party 8 its okay , but nintendo needs to get there act together with wifi that game should of been online im sry i cant let that slide. If they come out with a new one im not buying it if its not wifi.
