Wow, MP9 looks like its going to be a awesome game.

The new rules and thing seems interesting to me. like to see some originality. The mini games in particular look really good.
Seems like you will be more involved then you used to since everyone moves together.
Yoshi is always my favorite, but I'm glad to see Shy Guy be included.

Granted, after the last Mario Party and considering Fortune Street is a Square game, I can't say this is an impossible outcome.

A lot of negativity over something that no one has even played. Of course everything will suck when you say it's going to.

What's great about this game is that they went back to the N64 style Mario Party. The last couple Mario Parties were filled with completely random gameplay elements, mini-games that made no sense and left it as a really stale video game. This one is starting over at it's original roots.....and then it threw in a car. The game would of been PERFECT without the stupid car. I guess I'll gave to play it before I decide whether I like it or not.

The Car is REALLY fun! You will see why. Also LOL and everyone complaining about lack of Toadette and that Kamek is playable instead of her.

Didn't someone point out that "Classic Mode" or whatever would be available?

No. The only people who ever said that just assumed. The new mode is better anyways.

I haven't heard anything about DK being in this game either which is odd, especially when he has an unlockable board in this game but they had Waluigi piball in MK7 with no Waluigi so its not the first time something like this has happened.

Really not excited about the whole car thing.
Still undecided on this, but will probably give it a pass because there's too many other things to spend my money on right now.

@BenAV I'm skeptical about the car thing too but I guess it might work. I would prefer it if movement was like in previous games though.

I love how Mario Party 9 looks like New Super Mario Bros. Wii. It has it's theme through and through and the music even, sound like something you would find in NSMBW.

These guys mention on their podcast that they'll have a review later this week, but also a video demonstrating a full four player game on one of the boards. Might be worth checking out if you're on the fence about getting this like me.

That looks like fun, but I don't have any kids. Anyone want to rent me a clean suburban family when this comes out??

Been really waiting for this one. Got 4 us ready to get together on the 11th after church to pick up a pizza and the game. I love the fact of how you can turn off computers!!! Me and my wife get so annoyed by the computer sometimes (I always have to a certain degree, and I've played since the first one back in the last 90's)

Since I'm in the US, it hasn't come in here yet. Anyone else get the game yet?? What do you think of it?

I wish I had a ton of random Mario enemies in my home.

Sure I'd probably be killed by fireballs or bullet bills but it would be worth it.
