If you had one chance (or more) to make your own Wiiware game, what would it be about, how much would it cost, what genre would it be???? I would make a semi-3-D RPG i dont know how much it would cost though, well, discuss yours below!

RPGs are way too big for WiiWare unless you make them very simple.
What I'd do would be a third person shooter, depending on the level design might be a puzzle too. You play a dude who wields a machinegun and remote detonated bombs, the Wiimote aims the gun (hold it away from the screen and upside down to aim behind you) and shoots with B, the nunchuk throws the bombs with a shake and detonates them with the C button. Enemies run into cover and shoot at you, the closer you get the more damage you take from their shots. Shooting at enemies in cover only does a small bit of damage while they're looking out of it but suppresses them, they duck into the cover and are unable to shoot (or be shot), the idea is to suppress them, get close and throw a remote bomb at the cover which will kill them even if they are hiding. You can place a large number of the bombs before detonating them which then sets them all off simultaneously, the more enemies get caught in a simultaneous blast the more points you get (combo system). Shooting over your shoulder is obviously meant for preventing enemies behind you from opening fire. Could probably have enemies outside of cover too that just die when they're shot at (with an aimed forward shot). The puzzle would come in when you try to get a maximum combo.
A 2D platformer with a Katamari Damancy vibe, an extremely bizzare story, a bunch of wierd minigames and collectibles, and some other stuff. It would cost 1,000 Wii Points.

Nah an RPG wouldn't be too big if you don't go over the top on cutscenes etc etc. Think of how damned good FFVI | FFIII is and look at the size of the rom!
I wrote this up today. It's a computer idea, but it'd work awesome for WiiWare:
Genre: Adventure Platformer Players: 1 Art Style: SVG/Vector Art or Smooth Pixel Art
Story:
You play as an Eskimo in the Arctic. Your village is being harassed by large, vicious monsters, and your goal is to find their lairs and dispense with them.
Gameplay:
The game is entirely open-world, similar to the Zelda games.
You move the Eskimo around with the arrow keys. Jump with the Z key, and use your equipped item with the X key.
The environment is all at the same height, with pits, water, lava, upright icicles, (etc.) that you'll need to manually jump over. Areas are closed off by walls/cliffs, and occasionally doors which can be opened with keys.
There is minimal combat. You can throw snowballs or swing icicles at smaller predators, but the larger ones, such as polar bears and sea lions, are invincible and have powerful attacks, so provoking them will usually result in death.
You can find new items which will let you access new areas. For instance, when you find a pole you can use it to vault over wide gaps that were normally impassible.
If someone defeats me, I sing a song about how to be happy, and then I blow up.
LOL. You can't forget the creepy starfish.
I would make a 2D platformer. The main character will have electric/lightning powers. Think a 2D Infamous with a cartoony art style with differant worlds to explore. (I.E. city, forest, ruins, mountains, factory) The main character was being expierimented on, resulting his powers, by an evil organization. He has to save the area from this evil organization using his powers. (Very unoriginal story, I know.) Extra features would be music tracks, concept art, minigames, achievements, puzzle pieces(like in super princess peach), and videos and trailers to unlock and find on the way.
It would be a Canadian version of bowling, where you bowl 5-pin style and use the Wii remote to throw the small ball to five smaller spins, with a rubber ring around the middle of the lower part of the pins.
Another idea would be an open world game (with a fairly small world overall) in which you play a villain and just have to cause chaos, once you start killing people a run starts and you pretty much have to keep a combo going, if the combo timer expires or you take too much damage the run ends. Your score isn't cumulative, only the highest score earned in a run remains. Your character gets stronger the higher that score is and more and tougher enemies spawn.
Nah an RPG wouldn't be too big if you don't go over the top on cutscenes etc etc. Think of how damned good FFVI | FFIII is and look at the size of the rom!
I wasn't talking about the file size but the development effort and cost. A full RPG would cost so much to develop you'd have trouble breaking even on WiiWare and a retail release is your only real option.
A Theme Hospital clone for 1000 points would sound good to me.
I would buy 2, one for me and another as a big fat thank you to the developers.
There he goes, Firkraag. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die. - My VGscore
