You may not have noticed, Crow but you are becoming what you loathe. This place is changing you for the worse. The longer you stay here the more you become rude and unsympathetic yourself.
Yeah yeah, I heard it all before! So what?! If I want to be on here and complain like I usually do; I have the right to!
Do NOT forget that you had been BANNED twice [under the usernames Party On Dude and Captain Jack Sparrow]. You have the right to complain, but sometimes you complain in such a rude manner that even the moderators take notice.
I don't give a crap!
But when SSB64 comes does finally come out in NA... don't say I told you so for it took this long for it to come out! Some who have complained from the start, like myself; have had the right to complain! And those who still complain have the right to still do so until they get what they want! Like I keep saying; people are just too greedy nowadays!

You have a right to complain? Perhaps. And even so, that doesn't mean you should always express this, especially in an unappealing fashion. Also, what could you possibly hope to accomplish by telling people "I told you so"?
Well I'm not too familiar with the staffing and moderating procedures but based on what other forums do, I'd say it's safe to say that yes, they are different. IP Banning is a bit more serious.
So who cares what IP banning is?! It just means you can't use that stinking member name anymore; because you can't log in with the email address you currently have used!

@The_Crow: Shows how much you know about IP banning... I'd watch it if I were you.
Anyways, getting back on topic, seeing Cave Story would be a great surprise. I'm thinking it'll appear later in September though, especially after NoE has slated that Cave Story is to hit "October 2009" but obviously, that will most likely change.
Regular banning is simply not letting a user name log in any more. IP banning is your computer's IP address being banned from a site. For example, when you connect to a server (website) it knows what your IP address is. The server then checks your IP address against a blacklist (list of banned IPs), and if yours is on it your computer won't be able to log in or register on that site any more. In more serious cases, you won't be able to access or view that site at all.
So yeah, I'd be hella worried if you were close to getting your IP banned.
Nothing more than Return of the Jedi and if Nintendo thinks we deserve it, Pilotwings, or if Nintendo just feels plain cheery and jolly come Monday, Super Smash Bros. (Sarcasm)
@The Crow-You WILL care once you get IP banned. Because, your computer will be BANNED from Nintendo Life forever. You will NEVER be able to make another user profile again. If you keep it up, it can happen.

But you just said that complainers sicken you. Next time make more sense.

Return of the Jedi is not really a guarantee for Labor Day as Nintendo follows no patterns anymore. If we've learned anything from Nintendo it's that they are completely unpredictable anymore. It could be ANYTHING really. I'm not really expecting them to release Smash Bros till closer to the end of the year, to be honest but Pilotwings is a definate possibility for Labor Day. We'll see.
