Topic: Just picked up Force unleashed.

I wasn't sure I really wanted it but gamestop had a used copy for 17 bucks. I am a bit of a Star wars nut so that helps me enjoy it more than most might. I only played about an hour so far. It's decent I guess. Camera is a little jumpy but it is fun to smash things against the wall with force powers. I hear it's getting a sequel too. What is everyone's opinion of force unleased?

I really liked the controls, unfortunately, everything else sucked. It was so linear I wanted to die.

I agree. It was really fun for the first level or two, though.
Decent game, I guess (except for the imbecilic design choice to [incoming lame pun alert] force the player to start the game over in order to replay levels).

Hopefully Force Unleashed 2 will have Motionplus and a story boost if it comes to Wii.

I liked it. i thought the story (despite what most would say) was quite good, and i loved the irony in it, though the dialogue could be better (as well as the voice acting). the force powers were well done, too. the lightsabering (is that a word?) was decent enough, but if the sequel comes to Wii, i'll expect the melee combat to be more finely tuned. it was also a bit repetitive, but all in all, it was a good buy.

I couldn't really find anything to dislike about it, other than the length. It isn't perfect, but a solid 8/10.

And used copy for $17? Rip off. I got it brand new for $20.

Gamestop doesn't lower the used price much most of the time. a used recent release sells for $45 to the new game's $50. similar situation for old games. Opoona new right now is $9.99. used? $8.99

@pixelman: Is it that it didn't have online and it was shorter then the HD versions? That might be something that you feel that was missing.
