It really depends what you're into. Want balls hard, awesome Mega Man platforming goodness? Or a really fun 3-D roam around jet blasting platformer? They're both really great games, although I'd place MM10 above it, because Mega Man is awesome, and I probably spent more time with it. Not quite sure though.
In the North Pole level where you have to step on the switches to alternate between the blue and red doors, just get the doors to close on one of the robots when he passes through the doorway. I got that one by accident
omgthankyousomuch Bummer we don't get anything for 100%ing it. That was a good 6.5 (maybe a bit less) hours.
Oh, and great review Knucks. Score might be a bit high, but it's very well written.
Thank you very much, Starcross64. That means a lot, it really does. I considered rating it one notch lower, however, I wanted it to be clear that I enjoyed this more than RUNNER and I can see others echoing the same sentiment.
@KnucklesSonic8 Great review fella! I think i will download this game later then. Good review of Bit Trip Runner to, have you reviewed Blaster Master Overdrive yet then?
Thanks, Scottie! Means a lot, for both No I haven't reviewed that game. However, I'm always open to requests. You can file the request on our site if you like. http://bit.ly/98gDQF

Played through the first three levels of the first world. I love it so far. It's still too hard to believe that this is a 40 MB WiiWare game. I love the graphics, I love the music, the gameplay is great. Only complains so far are the speed of which Jett is swimming. A swim dash would have been great. The jett ski is also very slow and doesn't control that well. The speed up power up in front of the jump is also a bit clumpsy since the jett ski moves a bit. Took me a few tries when I got all the solar panels in that level.

Well, you can only swim in three levels, and you barely even need to, so that would be almost useless. But I figured the music would be more electronic, or techno-y, but it was really low-key. It was still good, but it just didn't really fit the game as much as it could have.
But this is one of my favorite WiiWare games now. Beats out Lostwinds 2, and is up with World of Goo (which gets brownie points from me because it's hilarious) and Bit. Trip Core (which just kicks ). I'm already replaying JR after I just 100%ed it xD
That's not really a comparison. Both are totally different games (and one isn't even out yet (and I don't expect it any time soon)). If you like 3D platformers like Super Mario Galaxy (without the bizar levels), then you're gonna like this.

From what I've played so far, it's a basic 3D platformer. But on WiiWare, and which gorgeous graphics. Which makes it very special since it's bizar that the cram it all in only 40 MB. Gameplay wise, Jett have a Jetpack (which is cool) and uses a jet ski in the second level, he uses a dash to speed up and some dash attack to kill enemies (like Sonic).

Hmm, it does a bit unique due to the jetpack and the various tools like parachute, hover board and jet ski.... but nothing overly unique. It is really well put together though.

I liked it a lot. It provided an experience not yet on WiiWare and did it well enough that glitches were not my concern. It is about a 3-5 hour game, even though it appears to be shorter when you play the first world.
My gripes: No checkpoints, which is hard when the game doesn't give many hearts to collect. Too similar bosses. Yes they are different, but I think they could try being a little more unique next game. Length, it makes me thirsty for more. I have a feeling JR2 will be an early 2011 or mid-2011 game, with their racer coming the end of the year.
Ugh, a nasty bug. In the first level of the second world. I jump over the fence to get to the hoverboard. Jump on it and nothing. Now I'm stuck there because I've got an empty jet pack so I need to restart the level. Bullshit.

And again. Same place same problem. Thank god my jet pack was full this time, so I could finish the level. But now have to restart again in my hunt for all the solar thingies.

@Sneaker13 I don't think you're supposed to jump over the fence to get to the snowboard. I thought you had to go all the way around the level for that. Maybe there's an "activation" moment that the game provides and you bypassed it?
Bypassing an activation moment is still very bad of course. But it's the only entryway to the snowboard and I did it a couple of times before it didn't work anymore. But finished the level completely now.
