I might send my Wii in for disc lens cleaning, but not right now. Anyway,I wanted to ask if The Condiut is a single layer disc or not. If it is,it's preorder time!
@SuperSonic As I'm logged in right now and Chatham is lazy, he'll respond to you through my account.... "Hey, SS1990, I'm still not 100% sure, and I'm not sure if we will know until it comes out! I know the only 3 DualLayer games I can think of are Brawl, Punch-Out!!, and WiiFit... But this game is going to have ALOT of content.... I would try keeping this thread alive and searching around the tubes some more to find an answer. BTW, on WiiSpeak channel now!"
@Sean Aaron (Chatham talking through his GF) "Have you SEEN how many tracks and stages there are in Brawl!?! Even compressed, it's over 100 full-length songs! All of which are classic. Throw all the items, character sprites, level design, and level hazards... And you've got yourself one FULL-ASS disc! The only way to tell is to ask Nintendo. When I went to the NOA Store, they put in WiiFit to test my DualLayer disc issue."

Wii Fit is dual layer!? But last time I played it a couple of months ago,it worked perfectly! Chatham,I'm not home right now unfortunely (I'm using my cell phone),but I will be home either this evening or tonight,so I'll send you a Wii Speak message when I'm ready to chat. I also heard that Punch-out!! is a single-layer disc, which is true? The reason Brawl is dual layer is because most of the game is on one side of the disc, and the other side is for the Subspace Emmisary. If Wii Fit works fine when I get home, then that means nothing's wrong with my disc lens, something wrong with my SSBB disc!
Why all the fuss? Just phone Nintendo and you could have it back within the week. And they won't hurt it I promise.
I might, but not right now. I got bigger problems such as a Xbox 360 which WILL NOT read any discs at all. I might send my Xbox 360 in for repairs in a few weeks. Then after that,I'll consider it. But I just sent an email to High Voltage Software and Sega,so I'll know soon.
I don't see why if its single-layer or dual-layer should determine if you pre-order it or not. If you order it at Gamestop it still costs the same and it comes with the cool extras, which are an artbook, a special graphical skin for the All Seeing Eye, as well as a multiplayer skin so you can play as the Drudge or whatever they're called.
To be honest, I rather have "The Conduit" be dual-layer disc, because it means more features in it. I've never had an problem playing Super Smash Bros. Brawl, so I say, let it be dual-disc, because I want more features.
Here at Europe (Portugal) i saw finnaly selling those Wii cleaning kits that Nintendo promised time ago. http://www.nintendo.co.uk/NOE/images/teaser_moods_small/Wii_L... I bought it for like 6€, you should buy it to clean your lens at home ;D And enjoy Dual-Layers!
