The best one I have is probably Samurai Shodown 2. I've been considering Ninja Commando or Top Hunter. Both look fun but I'm not sure if they are worth it. What's your take on either of these? Any others I should check out?

Ninja Commando's great. Spin Master's fairly good too. Can't say anything about Top Hunter since I've never played it.

Jesus is the only way.
It's OK to have an opinion. This ain't the Soviet Union you know.

I wish they would release some of the better NeoGeo games instead of just a bunch of fighters. i remember playing one game in particular where you were in an arena and would smash your opponent with a disc looking device (wind jammers I believe the game was called). I'd definitely buy that if/when it came out.

Wow, it looks like a lot of fun. It's basically air hockey with crazy skillz.

I recommend Metal Slug.

Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.

OMG that guy's goofy looking. What a dork. He said he was 27 but he looks like he's 40. I see he really loves his Neo Geo.
Is he just acting that way to be silly or is he really mentally challenged?

I did watch the video but at first I wasn't sure if he was really so nerdy or just acting. I figured out that it's just a character and he doesn't really talk like that. At least that's what I gathered from the comments on the video.

Metal Slug 3 is considered the best isn't it? I've only played and beaten the first 2, and I gotta say...MS2 was fantastic, but the slowdown was very annoying and somewhat destroyed the experience. As to why I should of passed on it and played MSX instead.

Same game, less slow down and more weapons...Too bad it hasn't made it's way on the VC, because when X and 3 are released I'll definitly be buying. OR I could just nab myself the Wii Metal Slug connection and deal with those wonky control schemes. hmmm decisions, decisions.

Metal Slug 1 doesn't have slowdown, and it is on VC.

The Metal Slug Anthology collection is compatible with the Game Cube controller, which is also the best way to play those games (GC controller = no waggling for grenades!)

I hate using the GCN controller for SideScrollers. The D-pad is too small and stiff, and the analog stick is a no no for retro titles like this. The Classic controller would of been perfect, but i love the Wii remote held sideways Nes style....But I have a feeling jumping and shaking the wii remote to throw grenades me be alittle tricky.

The analog stick works fine on sidescrollers as long as there's no double-tapping or directional combos, which there aren't in Metal Slug.

If you don't already own it, I would highly recommend the SNK Arcade classics collection on Wii. It contains 16 Neo Geo games (including Top Hunter) and would probably set you back the price of a couple of downloads.

That particular game seems to be much cheaper (like 50% cheaper) on the PS2 than on the Wii.
