Hello, Im currently level 1350 in Ping Pong and I would like to reach champion level or however its called. But yesterday and today I have spent at least 2 hours stuck on the same opponent. Shohei, he is only 10 levels above me, but I feel like he should be higher. He. Does. Not. Mess Up. In total I may have seen him miss the ball two times. The last 3 opponents before him have been a piece of cake, I won each and every one of them 6-0. And suddenly I get him and I honestly feel like he does not belong here. The skill level gap from him and the one below him are huge in my opinion. Does anyone have a strategy or anything that I could go with? I got to 5 points 2 times. And each of those two times he managed to tie with me because the wii remote just freezes and goes into my mii's body or sticks to the far left or far right. Every gosh darn time we get into a long game I know im going to lose because either my wii remote is going to mess up or my character suddenly forgets how to roll or dash towards the ball or I just simply watch a ball fly past me. So really these are my questions: What is a reliable strategy to use? Is there a limit to how much my character can roll or dash in a game? How can I minimize the Wii remote's chance doing something stupid?
Sorry if I'm exaggerating but I feel like at least 80% of the time I get scored on because the Wii remote or my character getting paralyzed from the hip down. (And yes Im a bit frustrated currently)

Have you tried changing the batteries in the remote? It shouldn't be doing that if it's working normally.

@Dogorilla Yes I have changed them. I thought that was the problem too. I also re-calibrate the remote often its just that when im in a long game and the ball is going fast I dont want to pause cause Im scared I mess up when I unpause. I try to get into the habit of centering my wii remote whenever I hit the ball so the paddle returns into a neutral position, but that doesnt always work.

Hmm, it might be worth getting a new Wii remote if you can find one.
