Topic: I haven't been Excited about an Excitebike game since Excitebike 64.

Alot of use of the word Excite huh? Anyway for some reason I skipped the last two. I was kinda put off when they stopped using bikes. It's good to see a new Wiiware version has arrived and brought back the classic style of the original. Perhaps I shouldn't have been so quick to judge the non bike games of the series though. I might have to rethink my boycott of bikeless Excite games and give those others a try.

they are excellent racers. i never enjoyed the bike games, but i love both of those (though bots is better than trucks, in my opinion).

Excitebike 64 is the best game in the series, but Excitetruck should not be ignored, it's awesome fun. Fact!

The old school feeling I get from this game makes me more excited. I also used to play Excitebike around this time of year back in the day, so the memories are all over me right now.

Excite Truck was really fun. It reminds me of Burnout....with Trucks. You can probably find it for cheap now too.

excitetruck/bots are great games. i never played any excitebikes until this wiiware version today, and i'm loving it. the online battles can get cutthroat since you can turn in front of another player an cut him off. so much fun.

i'd suggest bots, it's got more gameplay elements, is more chaotic, and has online.

If Nintendo was smart, they would've release Excitebike 64 a long time ago, but with this new one just coming out, we'll probably never see it now.

If they were to release Excitebike 64 via the VC, it would probably cost more than 1000 Wii Points (since it included the original game). Or they would edit the original game out.

Maybe that's because there hasn't been an Excitebike game SINCE Excitebike 64.

Excitebike world really might not be as bad as it's sounds as for ExciteTruck and ExciteBots well ExciteTruck wasn't bad but a decent launch title ExciteBots is completely pointless, as for the first two Excitebike games the first on the NES isn't bad either it's not great but better then the none bike titles as for the other one well until Excitebike 64 comes to VC then i'l care for the series again.
