Topic: How's Excitebots?

I was looking at Amazon, saw it was cheap and saw a vid on youtube and I'm impressed on how fun it looks. I haven't played Excite Trucks but can this game be a replacement for it?

Yes.

Excite Trucks is probably better if you want more "serious" arcade racing; Excitebots is better if you want wild and unpredictable action mixed into your racing. I think Excitebots is less accessible though - there are just too many gimmicks and silly tricks for non-gamers to race effectively, while Excite Trucks is easier to understand and play. Both games are very good though.

It's amazing. Buy it.

I don't really like basic racing games, like too realistic. Not that they can't be fun. Also Excite Trucks is kinda expensive right now.

Sounds like Excitebots is a perfect choice then! It really is a fun racing game... one of many great Wii games that didn't sell nearly as well as it should have.

I personally love this game. Its fast and looks, good controls well, and theres a lot you can do in the game.
I agree with ejamer it shouldve sold way more. Also I believe it was a budget title to so it was like $30 I believe not 100% sure on that though.

Yes there's only one Nintendo Wii Wheel. Also, every first-party Nintendo game scores you coins on Club N, Excitebots included.

It's better than Excite Trucks in just about every way. Unlocking stuff is even more tedious in this game though.

EXCITE bots is awesome its my second most played wii game besides brawl, and all i do in brawl now is listen to music so i guess that doesnt really count as "playing".
