H! How in the world can I save the game? It seems as the START-screens save with green-button isn't working... Played first 1,5 hours and the game crashed and had to start all over again. Then after that played for 3 hours and saved from the start-screen all the time but when I started to play again today and picking my profile it started from the beginning again. Starting to get frustrating. There's a save data on my Wii's memory but how to use it?
When you are Young Link, you always start at Link's house, unless you saved inside a dungeon, in which case you start at that dungeon's entrance. That aside, your progress in the game is still saved, you just have to go back to where you were when you saved and quit.
I don't even have any of the items I've collected and there's all the introvideos again. It just starts from clean table...Would really like to now what's the åroblem as this is my first Zelda-game and I'm already addicted...

Your game crashed and this is the VC version? Then you might want to redownload the game. Saving is easy in OOT, you just start at different places when you start your game back up depending if you are Young Link, Adult Link, or if you are at a dungeon.
Downloaded it 2 more times and still the same problem...Is there anything else I could do? Do you guys save it from the Start-menu pressing the green button?
Yeah, something's wrong with either your download or your system. Virtual Console games aren't exactly known to crash all of a sudden, nor corrupt files.
Future Wii purchases: Super Mario Galaxy 2 Metroid: Other M Zelda Wii New Super Mario Bros. Wii Sin and Punishment 2
I don't get the "Game saved" confirmation from the menu, but found out the saving works if I first let Link get killed and save it when it asks it...

You don't know? Wow.........sigh.
Awesome. Keep it up...
I was thinking this thread was a joke because saving is so easy, I save everytime without thinking when I need to switch an item then I keep pressing B to get off the start menu.
1: Hit Start 2: Press B (Red on Gamecube controller) 3: Select Yes when it says "Are you sure you want to save?" etc. etc. 4: Wait for it to save until you see the confirmation message. ("Your game has been successfully saved." etc. etc.)
