Topic: How far are you in Metroid Prime Trilogy?

They are the huge ones that you first see in the phazon storage tanks. If you switch to the infrared visor, you'll see their primary weapon on their left shoulders. Two charged beam/missle strikes finish them off. They're slow and cumbersome so they have a hard time hitting. They shoot some kind of electical shock wave that you can easily jump over. Maybe eventually, I'll run into tougher Elite Hunters with different AI.

you can scan tons of things, but you have to be in "scan mode" with Samus's visor. Click the "-" button and move the cursor to the top symbol. Eventually the infrared visor symbol will appear on the left. Not sure what pops up on the right as I haven't gotten that far yet.

pixelman is correct. You have to unlock the screenshot tool with the collectible vouchers.

Oh yeah, I found the Grapple Beam earlier today.

I finally found my last missile tank and beat Prime this morning. I started a new game on Veteran only so I can scan the ONE thing I missed: Flaahgra's Tentacle. >_<

I am about to battle the boss in chozo ruins I have 30 missles. Where do you get boost and spider ball expansions

I'll have to restart to get more scans too. I think I've probably missed quite a few things. And now that I think about it, can you scan the equipment upgrades? Like the wave beam, ir upgrade, etc? If so, I've missed every single one of those. I always jump on them before I even consider that I could have scanned them.

Oh, here's a question:
Who chose to replay these on 'Veteran' difficulty instead of taking the easy way out?
(I chose veteran)

Yeah, you can scan them, but you don't have to. I'm just a scan-a-holic.

While I do like the fact that the game has a "new game plus" sort of thing, I don't really have a reason to scan anymore unless I use a different Mii slot.

You have to scan things because it gives you hints. I have the scanner visor on all the time because it shows me where the enemies are, as well as any items I need to reach.
