Topic: How do you play multiple people in Tetris Party?

Hey guys!

For the life of me, I can't figure out how to play Tetris Party with two friends at the same time.

I have both their friend codes imputed within my friend roster. I do "Search for Friend" and am only able to connect with one friend at a time this way.

I go into "Friend Room" and when I create a room only one friend appears--the one who happened to click in the fastest.

How in the world do you connect with more than one friend at a time?

Thank you!

From what I can understand from that slightly confusing post, your others friends need to register eachother, so all of you have eachothers friend codes registered.

It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!

I never tried playing with more than 1 friend at a time so I'm not even 100% positive it's possible, but I know in the regular wi-fi you have to put items on to play multiple people, so it might be the same for friends matches. Worst case scenario, just try going into the item matches in the regular wi-fi at the same time -- there probably aren't a huge number of rooms, so I doubt it would take long to find each other.

Aviator: Sorry for not being more clear. Yes, we have all exchanged codes and have all registered with each other. Now that we have registered, we are trying to figure out how the three of us can play at the same time.
When I choose "Search For Friend", my friends appear, but we cannot connect. When I choose "Create a Room" and then both my friends try to enter the room, only one can enter. The one that does enter is the person who happens to click in first.

iphys: I'm not exactly sure what you are referring to, but I will try to figure out what you mean and give it a try.

I just checked, and you do have to switch the items from off to on when you make the room in order for multiple friends to join you. They really should have made it clearer that changing the item status changes the number of people that can play in friend matches, because there's no indication at all. I'm really not too sure why they even have that constraint for friend matches, since a bunch of friends might just want to play each other the standard way without the silly items.

Ah, iphys! Thank you! Never in a million years would I have thought that turning on Items would enabled the multiplayer function. But you're right and it worked! Thank you!
