Hey KS8, I noticed you submitted the unlockables to Gamefaqs.com, but you messed one up. According to the Hoopworld Official Website, you unlock the Magma Rumble stage by beating Normal Tournament Mode with all standard teams, not just once. You should send in a correction.
Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.
That's not a first. But sure, I'll keep you posted. And yes, DLC was in the works for Spaceball: Revolution but still hasn't released...
Not a first? I can't remember Pay&Play DLC that wasn't announced beforehand, upon release (through its instruction manual) or in-game (DLC menu). I'm not sure about NA only games though, but that kind of thing hasn't happened in EU - apparently until HoopWorld: BasketBrawl.
Spaceball: Revolution. And for some reason, I keep thinking I'm forgetting one. Copter Crisis, maybe? I don't recall.
As far as I know Spaceball: Revolution never intended to have Pay&Play DLC. DLC yes, but no Pay&Play DLC.
Copter Crisis' Pay&Play DLC? Yeah, it wasn't specified beforehand, and no info about it was given in the instruction manual, but all of its Pay&Play DLC was available in-game at launch.
It seems all the other WiiWare games with Pay&Play DLC where planned and developed with their downloadable content as part of the development and marketing. In the case of HoopWorld, the Pay&Play DLC is not planned and developed yet - the developers just included the option to have an unspecified amount of Pay&Play content at some point. (And that's a first, isn't it?)
Who says it's not planned and developed yet? Just because they haven't told us about it yet doesn't mean it isn't already worked out.

And yes, Spaceball: Revolution WAS going to have it. Downloadable puzzle packs for Wii Points.
Downloadable puzzle packs for Wii Points? But there never was the Pay&Play logo in that game - unlike HoopWorld. Could it have been downloadable puzzle packs for FREE maybe? Like the free DLC in Alien Crush Returns?
@KnucklesSonic8: You seem to be pretty sure about the forthcoming DLC. Did you get some inside information from the developers? I read an article that said that the DLC will consist of new teams and courts. Have you heard anything about this or are you not at liberty to discuss this yet? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Nintendo Power gives the game their middle "Hmmm...." rating for its ridiculous story, overly complex controls, and motion controls that don't always register.

How is the story ridiculous when it's only implied? Furthermore, never once have I had issues with the controls not registering. Makes me wonder how they played the game...
I just read that NBA Jam Wii will not have online gaming, so Hoopworld just got back to my list of purchases.
You do know that Hoopworld doesn't have online play either, right? Hoopworld is certainly a lot cheaper, but if you're only going to get one of them, NBA Jam is still the master of 2-on-2 arcade basketball, and it still has a lot more great features and replay value than Hoopworld.
If you're instead implying that you're now going to get both, because you'll no longer be satisfied with just NBA Jam, then I give my recommendation of this game.
