The Secret Saturdays: Beasts of the Fifth Sun. But before you write this off as a crappy licensed game, I read that it’s inspired to be like Bionic Commando for the Wii http://www.siliconera.com/2009/08/13/high-voltage-shocks-us-w... I can’t wait for this game and not just because I love the show.
I never would have expected HVS to go from "the definitive FPS on Wii" to a game based off of a cartoon.
Why not? Before making The Conduit, they made a Dora the Explorer game, a Family Guy game, a Harvey Birdman game, a Go Diego Go game, a Codename Kids Next Door game, and a Lilo & Stitch game,
Why does everything they make have to be inspired by stuff?.. The conduit-Perfect dark/Goldeneye (could be wrong but it feels like that to me) The grinder-Left4dead.
I dont know...hmm

Where the **** did all this negative feeling toward HVS come from? I bought there game, and have now traded it in as it was a disappointment, do I pour scorn upon them as a result? Do I ****! Not surprised to see Snoopy doing his thing, but Adam too? Oh well.
Best of luck for the future High Voltage, fingers crossed!
What, am I not supposed to dislike a company? Seems pretty ordinary to me. Lots of people have opinions, and not all of them are positive. I could list some other game companies I couldn't care less about, if necessary, Sega chief of among them.
I was just saying I was surprised to see a company that is trying so very hard to prove that the Wii can put out "mature" games finally has a good-looking title (though admittedly we know next to nothing about it, and there are only three screen shots), and it's based on a children's cartoon. If you read closely (i.e. read at all), you'll notice that I am actually interested in this game, not scorning...
@Adam: I read all comments before responding, in fact I had to take a double take at yours. Perhaps it was the word 'garbage', which seemed out of character.
That was in reference to their previous Wii games, which do in fact look as appealing as garbage. You apparently haven't read any of the threads on other HVS games that I've commented in if you think that's out of character.
I would elaborate, but I have said enough on their other Wii games in development elsewhere and don't want to derail a thread on a game that actually looks potentially good.
I loved High Voltage efforts on The Conduit on the Wii, but The Saturdays do not deserve an video game. I do not care about it, plus Cartoon Network has screwed over it's audiences. Seriously, with the poor amount of views that CN has now, do they seriously think this will be a financial success? Also, I'm boycotting CN property, and that includes games based off CN property. Maybe I'll rent it if it's good, but even then it'll be doubtful. The only thing that's helping High Voltage Software is that they don't have a time limit.
What has Cartoon Network done? I don't watch TV, but I was under the impression it was a pretty popular channel.
It used to be, but due to them forgetting what made them so famous, they lost popularity and are even less popular then ScFy. I'm dead serious, they shot themself in the foot when they cancel Toonami.

I'm sorry dude, Toonami didn't do anything to make CN popular. It made a hell of a lot of anime fans (myself included) but even in it's golden days, Toonami wasn't CN's reason for success. Their Cartoon Cartoons were. They may have dropped Toonami and the old Cartoon Cartoons, but unlike Nick they aren't relying on past successes. Unlike Nick, for better or worse, CN tries new things. Almost every year it turns into something else, compared to Nick who have been sending out the same Spongebob and tween shows EVERY SINGLE DAY FOR YEARS.
I think Cartoon Network should be admired for never staying the same for to long, always re-inventing themselves, maybe not always for the best, but always willing to take a shot.

Actually it's been around for a while.
There's always been a lot of hate. And rightfully so.
Yeah I avoid all that (or try), I just get myself in trouble wading in. Not sure if 'hate' is the right word to use though. I'm sure they're very nice people.
