I've had that happen to my SNES games. My Super Mario World, Super Mario All-Stars, and Donkey Kong Country 2 save files were wiped due to them being played so many times. I also had a friend way back in my high school days whose Pokemon Yellow save file was gone upon turning the game on.

@gimmi_c @BlueOcean The Genesis (Mega Drive) Mini looks really promising so far, though it is wise to wait for how it plays and what games it will come with. I'm happy that Castlevania Bloodlines, Gunstar Heroes, and Shining Force are in, but I would LOVE games like Sonic 3 & Knuckles, Ristar, and Dynamite Headdy making the cut, also. Oh, and for something that's developed by Sega in-house, it better not have trashy sound emulation... I'm looking at YOU, AtGames!!!

@MarioLover92 Yes, I hope that it's as good as it sounds on paper. By ditching ATGames and being developed by Sega and M2 expectations are high. It has twice as many games as SNES Classic but I'm going to be honest, I added Super Mario All Stars (that I also have for SNES and Wii) to SNES Classic and I would add (if possible) Sonic 3 & Knuckles if it's not included in Mega Drive Mini. However, as much as Nintendo should have included SMAS, Sega should include Sonic 3 & Knuckles because they are currently available for purchase on Xbox One.

Digital Foundry and other websites will analyse Mega Drive Mini as they did with NES Classic, SNES Classic and PS Classic. The SNES Classic is awesome, it includes two original controllers and some of the most important SNES games (including the original Yoshi's Island) and almost flawless emulation for a relatively low price. It is much better than i expected, even built quality seems higher than Switch's.
