I've got FFCC :My life as a king and it has DLC content which enlarged the length of the game. Do you know if FFCC: MLAAD has any DLC?
Currently playing: Persona 4 Golden (Vita), Persona (PSP), Disgaea 3 (Vita), Yumi's Odd Odyssey (3DS), Devil Survivor Overclocked (3DS).
Recently finished: Pokémon X (3DS), Persona 3 Portable (PSP), Fire Emblem Awakening (3DS), Virtue's Last Reward (3DS).

Although I dont have this yet (I plan to when its released in UK) I have heard it has plenty of DLC, but much more cheaper than My Life as a King with most content being 100 points. Extra things like additional monsters and Traps.

"The following are available for players in Japan right now:
Two costumes for Mira, priced at 200 WiiPoints each Three 100 WiiPoint monster types for use as troops Two 200 WiiPoint floor types which can be added to your tower for a variety of effects when facing off against your foes. Three 100 WiiPoint items which you can use once per stage Square Enix will also be offering expansion stages. These will be 500 WiiPoints each.
In Japan, My Life as a Dark Lord costs 1,000 WiiPoints for the base download. The extra downloads are strictly optional, but if you do decide to download everything, you'll have to pay a total of 1,400 WiiPoints over the base cost."
So: some lame, some interesting, some essential, and ALL - I would argue - deserving to be 'in-game' from the outset. Good old SquareEnix.
All or nothing! And Darklord is a game I definately want as it's the spiritual successor to the best WiiWare game to date: My Life as a King.
So I have to consider a minimum cost of 2400 Wii Points on day one? + approx. 1000 Wii Points for additional stages in the next few months...
It's expensive, but if it's as good as MLAAK it's definately worth 3500 Wii Points. In the end I wonder why they won't make a retail version right away.
Wow, really they should have just done both games as full retail, though I expect they're getting much better return on the games this way. FFIV: After Years I'm good for, but buying stuff to use in a sim game? No thanks.
I'm undecided. I really want this game a lot, I think it looks fantastic, but the idea of all these 'extras' is off-putting - especially as some of them seem like essential content removed from the core download purely for financial gain. My most expensive WiiWare so far is World of Goo, a game that is utterly generous, wondrous and...complete.
