Topic: Harvest Moon My Little Shop

Alright guys, for all of you harvest moon fans out there, it looks like will be getting this game tomorrow for the NA as well and heres the site and says it all too... looking forward to it.

This looks like diner dash Harvest Moon style.

Yeah, I heard that it was coming tomorrow but I still have no clue as to how much it is going to cost. It looks interesting but I will probably wait for a review before I decide to take the plunge. Here is a video of some of the gameplay:

After reading the description it sounds pretty neat, but not something I will pick up.

I'll buy it. I have a weakness for Harvest Moon.

I love Harvest Moon games too, but I gotta wait for the review. It sounds like I could get suckered in. I'm glad you still grow crops though. At first I thought it was only about serving customers.

That's what I thought! If there's normal HM gameplay then I'll get it -- it'll be my first HM game.

Anyone here who already bought it? I like Harvest Moon, even though that this game is different than the others, I'll probably still get it.

after watching the video on Nintendo channel it look more like a mini game collection

I've liked past Harvest Moon titles but like Egg miester said the video makes it look like a mini game collection, a lousy mini game collection to boot. I'll have to wait for the reviews for convincing

i was so excited about this game when i first read about it last year it would be fun having a store but now it h most seems that natsume let me down with a mini game collection

Yeah, it seems to be nothing more than a mini game collection and an expensive one at that. It also has DLC available for it as well and the first package is 400 points. There is supposed to be more DLC coming in the future so this could end up being a very expensive investment.

Well the best thing to me about previous Harvest Moon games is the aspect of running a business, setting long term goals and meeting them. This could still be present in this game so I haven't totally ruled it out. The price of the dlc seems a bit steep on top of a 1200 point game...

Umm I would hold off on this purchase. I know its early but of course with me and Harvest Moon stuff i knew i couldnt resist. So far I am very disappointed. I have heard it is kind of like a Pokemon Ranch thing as I can see and more will be unlocked later but they really start you off with jack squat. I guess i cant really give much of an impression from the first day. You get one seed and plot to start the day. You don't plant and water at all like Harvest moon games. You click on the plot and choose the option that says plant seeds. There you go, seeds are planted. And to water crops. Click on the plot again and click water plants. You start with one plot but grandpa says I will get another one tomorrow. You water once each day and different crops have a number of real days it takes for them to grow. You get one whole freakin minigame to start too which is juicing. The game has two parts. First one is shooting at moving targets. You shoot the fruit or vegetable that the customer requests while other fruits and veggies are flying across the screen. You need to shoot 5 of them. the game is beyond simplistic with no challenge at all and takes about 8 seconds. Then comes the juicing which is just waving the wiimote up and down at a certain speed depending on how chunky or smooth the customer wants the juice. Then thats it. You get your score based on how well you do and get paid accordingly. yippee! I know there will be more, and i know its meant to play just a little each day but this is really bad at the moment in my opinion. And theres a DLC item and more to come later right now thats 400 points. No way am I paying for this when I haven't even gotten 1200 points worth yet. Actually I haven't even gotten 300 points worth yet. Maybe I will eat my words later and I hope i do.

It actually sounds kinda neat, even though the update Vaynard gave was a negative one. I like progressive long terms game that only require 15 minutes per day to keep active, a progressive sim. Hmm...

I really hope that it turns out to be good. Vaynard's impressions left me discouraged but maybe the game has a hidden depth to it that reveals itself over time. I'm still waiting for the review.

If this game is like Bonsai Barber, it will probably take quite some time until the Reviews are coming up.
