The graphics are a strange mix, car models, draw distance, reflections and lighting on the road are fine whereas the backgrounds themselves are seriously lacking in detail and the textures very low resolution. Also runs at about 30fps, but its pretty consistent.
Having said that, I'm finding it a very fun arcade racer to play and way better than the poor review scores (about 40%) I've found suggest. If you remember the arcade game, or enjoy classic style arcade racing, might be worth checking out!
The fact that GAME isn't stocking it even online is a bad sign - especially since this is Konami we're talking about. I expect you'll be able to get this for a song from Zavvi or The Hut in a month or two if you're really curious.
It's a shame because I'd be up for a street racing game with a lot of European cars in it. Need for Speed Nitro is something I'll probably check out eventually, but I'm really disappointed the only Renault in there is an old model and that's the sole French auto representation.
