Topic: Gaming on a budget/Wii classics you can pick up cheap!

Was passing by my local CEX http://www.cex.co.uk/ you can also buy online if your in the UK , yesterday and noticed some HUGE pre-owned bargains, especially with regards to some classic Wii titles, so I decided to be nice and collate a little list showing what some of the best bargains were. Now get these titles in your collection! :

1. Madworld - £6
2. Excite Truck - £6
3. Zack & Wiki - £6
4. Overlord: Dark Legend (1up and NWR gave it 83/85) - £10
5. Disaster: D.O.C. (one of my fave Wii titles) - £8
6. Trauma Centre: Second Opinion - £6
7. Trauma Centre: New Blood - £8
8. Battalion Wars - £6
9. Rogue Trooper (Great tactical 3rd person shooter) - £6
10. Okami - £12

Even though this list is great for us loyal Wii gamers it saddens me to see such great games go for so cheap

Wow. I may pick up Battallion Wars 2 Wii for that.

I wouldn't say no.4 and no.9 are classics on the Wii IMHO.

Yeah classics may be a bit strong but still good games that are worth a purchase nonetheless.

Also Shaun White: World Tour is going for £24.99 at Tesco, gona purchase it after NSMBW and Muramasa, a bit broke cos I just bought NFS:Nitro and Rabbids Go Home so many great games!

PS Shaun White:Road Trip (the first game) is £12 on CEX (deffo worth a purchase, great title)

IF you dont have NIGHTS pick it up on the cheap as its under $10 USD over here on this side of he pond and the game is fantastic...... Its not on your list but its just such a great game I had to add it.

I got Guilty Gear for $12 used the other day... wasn't half as fun as I remembered it being in arcades.

Aye mate, fair enough. I meant all of them are 8/10 or 9/10 games except no.4 and no.9 IMHO of what I have seen or of what limited play I have had of them on other ppls' Wiis.

I've got a feeling Shaun White "2" will be cheap by about Feb next year as the first one surprisingly didn't sell well! It got a creditable 80% from ONM. I've got it on my "possible purchase when cheap" list.

I though Guilty Gear was decent as well. I saw Mario Strikers for around a tenner in Gamestation I think, used.

Amazon is also selling some pritty decent wii games for cheap at the moment picked up Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn for about £14

To anybody who doesn't have Okami, pick it up now! At that price the game is pretty much a steal!(heck, it was a steal when it was $40 when it came out)

Fur those across the pond, don't forget de Blob, which is around pretty much everywhere for $20 or less. Same with NiGHTs: Journey of Dreams. Oh, and most of SNK's game are pretty cheap as well. For shooter fans, Ultimate Shooter Collection is a must, and it's also under $20 these days.

Agreed. You definitely get your money's worth.

Also, I've seen Little Kings Story around for pretty cheap!

Just picked up A Boy and his Blob for £23 on ebay, 39p cheaper than amazon, lol, quite pleased with myself a saves a save!

I don't think we have rogue trooper over here, but it looks really cool. I got De Blob here in the US for about 10 bucks and I"ve seen it all over for that cheap, it's definitely worth it. I need to get New BLood and Okami. Played them both but I'd love to buy them and actually play through all the way; I think they're cheap here now, too. But Then I haven't seen Okami used here anywhere.

You can get Okami and Zack & Wiki NEW on Play.com using their 2 for £25 offer, just in case you have issues with pre-owned

Super Paper Mario is only 25 dollars at gamestop now, but I don't know if you could call it a classic.

It would be nice to find Zack & Wiki cheap over here in the States. I know a while back it was rather expensive and rare.
