Isn't it pointless to list games that we already know have no or very little chance at coming to the Virtual Console?

It'd be nice if there's a thread for currently realisticly possible releases you'd like to see instead of ones filled with people requesting something like arcade 6 player X-Men. You know like:

Rocket Knight Adventures (Megadrive)
Starwing (SNES)
Earthbound (SNES)
Final Fight (Arcade)
Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo (Arcade)

Rare said themselves it's up to nintendo........you don't think Nintendo would be more inclined to do so if they saw a demand for the titles?

Super Mario All-Stars. Banjo-Kazooie. Mario Party 2. Thats all i want and i'll never request another game for VC.

When we get the first of Rare's own series on the VC that isn't a Donkey Kong game then great. Until then, I just doubt they will come.

I'd like to see Hellfire, Gynoug, Zero Wing, Truxton, Phelios, Thunder force 2, 3, & 4 on the Megadrive. As well as imports like Aeroblasters, Utimate Tiger, Gaiares, Elemental Master and many more shmups. SlapFight and Eliminate Down cost a bomb if they come up on ebay so those too (although I've never played those two so I don't know if they're any good or not).

Relistically though most of those we'll never see. Maybe Gynoug, Phelios or Gaiares. Aeroblasters possibly (a Kaneko game), maybe not. Capcom with UN Squadron and Konami with Parodius on the SNES are good bets, I think.

There are loads of shmups I'd like to see for the TG-16/PCE on the VC. Power Strike 1 & 2 on the SMS (not much chance).

For non shmups I'd like to see Flicky, Snake rattle & roll (No chance at present). Pilotwings 64 & Excitebike 64, NES Boulderdash. Psycho Fox. The SNES version of Prince of Persia published by Konami as well.

Maybe Street Fighter 2010 will come out...in 2010?

Hahaha. I see what you did there. Although Street Figher 2010 is a game I've been curious about. I heard it's not the same as the fighting series of games from Capcom.
