And the Phoenix Wright games are based off of the DS entries, so they don't count either.
Actually, the WiiWare Phoenix Wright game is almost a port from the GBA version (from which the first DS game was a remake) that was never released in America.
Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.
I would pay 1000 Wii points to see Super Mario Land redone on WiiWare as a ReBirth or SuperMarioAll-Stars-style game.
That would be awesome.
I'm pretty sure I think I'm funnier than I really am. 10 Years of Kingdom Hearts 3DS Friend Code: 0301-9785-9580 [url=http://www.youtube.com/user/NeoStormGaming]Watch me and my friends play games! Now with better visual qualit...

indeed.
500 points to remake the levels from Super Mario Land using the engine from New Super Mario Bros. Wii (so basically its New Super Mario Bros. Wii with levels identical to those from Super Mario Land).
The levels would seem much smaller since you can pretty much fit about two and a half GB screens worth of blocks onto a single screen from NSMBW.
You should be able to play in Classic mode (controls identical to the original) and NSMBW mode (controls same as in NSMBW).
Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.
I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!
Come to think of it Castlevania Rebirth is a remake of a gameboy game, don't think it counts as a port
It's not a remake, it's a sequel...
No it's not a sequel. It's a reimagining of the original GB game, since they both tell the same story but play completely differently. Their relation is much like Castlevania and Super Castlevania IVs, they tell the same story but are designed vastly differently.
I would live to see a NSMBW style Super Mario Land game. Super Mario Land 2 had some of my favorite concepts for levels.I would love to see a new Mario game like that. I wonder if they would do a Wiiware platform mario game.
