Delusions of grandeur.

Are they going to be bold release it with the much more edgy title of Beer Pong Pro?

"Following in the success of JV Games' Pong Toss, Pong Toss Pro will be coming exclu.........." see, now I can't trust the info in the press release anymore. They said Pong Toss was successful. Like it was a good game or something. edit @edhe, glad I am not the only one who noticed that

Actually, both of you who mentioned "success" it very much was a success. I'd post a line graph that shows it, but it was by far the best selling WiiWare game that came out July 2008. It stayed in the top 20 for ~30 weeks. That's more than any of their other games.

JV Games' record:
Pong Toss - Critically panned, sold extremely well thanks to the audience
Incoming! - Horrible critical reception and never appeared in the Top 20
Christmas Clix - Much better critical reception, did not seem to appear on the Top 20 (probably due to puzzle + Christmas theme)
Dart Rage - Good to very good critical reception (seen as a very good dart game), sold decently

So, they've probably made Incoming! and CC with the earnings from Pong Toss. it sold a lot, so why not make a sequel? If they can at least eep out the quality of CC and DR with their future concepts, I say let them release this.

Oh god, I thought we destroyed the last of this madness with the last WiiWare quick-buck ping-pong cash-in! But it still lives! LIVES I TELL YOU!!!

I suppose you could also consider Sexy Poker a success?

Lol, Incoming Rebirth.

Looks like no one's rejoicing. But yes, Watt's right that it did have moderate successes. Nice to see it'll have improved graphics too.

<looks at his wall of sales-trends>

Yes, I would have to consider it a success, blah. It stayed on the Top 20 the longest out of all August 2009 releases (even outdoing NyxQuest). Of course, being 5 bux and having Gameloft on the cover works.

If you make a dudebro game, you'll get dudebro sales.

Pfft I announced this in the ESRB thread long ago. No one seemed to care though, for some reason.
