Seems like this guy hates the Wii. I personally think he is going too far. While I agree the Wii has tons of shovelware, it has awesome games. The Wii is not a toy, and certainly not a virus! Thoughts?
Yes, a virus. The thought of widening the gaming audience so gamers can enjoy games with their families--sickening. Just sickening. And when I look at these disgusting casual games like Super Mario Galaxy 2, Metroid: Other M, Sin & Punishment 2, Monster Hunter Tri, Red Steel 2, No More Heroes 2, and Tansunoko vs. Capcom that make up the Wii's pitiful 2010 lineup it just confirms to me that Nintendo has abandoned us.

Wow, how is the Wii not a game system? Just because it has SD graphics and a shovelware problem? Look at PC, it has double the shovelware but it still can be a gaming console, he is just acting like all the Wii haters these days.

I believe the DICE being referred to is the one that works on the Battlefield games (a division of EA)

The Wii is not a virus, but I agree completely with the rest. It is a cool white box that probably only 1% of the users really use to play in a regular basis.
The typical type of people(besides Teenagers trying to be mature and manly) that have these type of mind sets are super serious Adult Nerds in their 30's with absolutely zero sense of humor and are flat out close minded sheep. All serious and no fun. They want a serious console with HD graphics and bald headed commandos, sport sims, Nice cars, big tanks and explosions. No room for color, cartoons, happyness, imagination or fun unique ways to play games. So of course the Wii is labeled as a Toy.
I don't know about you, but I love toys. we all grew up with them, i'm all for nostalgia I remember one guy on some A/V forum told me i needed a 'Serious' console since I only owned the Wii at the time....lol just hilarious.
I only have a Wii, and I play with it a lot. I've been playing video games since I got a Sega Genesis when I was 10 (I'm 25 now). I don't understand why my sisters would rather rock in a rocking chair while listening to music with their free time instead of playing video games. I don't understand why my mom will play Wii Fit but not any real video games with actual objectives.
Basically, my life completely contradicts this guy's mindset.
I also agree that the Wii being called a "toy" isn't a bad thing, as all video game consoles are toys. Nobody ever says, "I hate how many chores I have to do today. I've got to do the laundry, mow the lawn, vacuum the living room, and finish beating Halo 3."
Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.
The Wii may not have many hardcore games out, but pay close attention to the other console's hardcore games, and then look at the genres they fall into: First Person Shooter, Third Person Shooter. The two genres that the gaming market is oversaturated with. Congratulations Microsuck, you lack variety.
Then notice the lack of lovable mascots on the other systems. Notice anything? Guess which two systems don't have instantly recognizable lovable characters. Won't tell you who, but their names have a 3 in them somewhere.
Look at which system joined the current generation a bit late, whines about it, and has nearly no games to show for it. Hint: Its name rhymes with Playstation 3.
So yeah, the Wii may get random waggle-fests left and right, may not have as many features, or etc, just look at how well it's doing despite this.
