Topic: Final Fight 3 Debug cheat not working.

I can't get the code to work. You're supposed to hold select and start before the Capcom logo fades but it just keeps returning me to the games intro. Anyone know what this cheat does? What am I doing wrong?

I just wanted to try it. Not sure I'll need it though. The first two Final fight games can be pretty dang hard. Just wanted to be prepared since it will be my first time playing.

Does anyone wanna help me confirm this? If you have Final fight 3 on VC see if you can get the cheat to work. I'll keep trying too.

I think Nintendo removed debug modes from some of the VC releases. If I remember correctly :3

Even if the cheat doesn't work, Final Fight 3 is a lot easier than FF2. You should be able to beat on Easy pretty easily and most people also have a decent chance on beating it on Normal.

It only works on the European version. I've used it myself.

There is nothing wrong with using a code in a video game who is he cheating himself. It's a game it's supposed to be fun first, if using a code or cheat makes it more fun for someone then they should use it. I use a debug code for China Warrior when I play, makes the game so much more playable.
