Yeah, it really is like the original version of FFIV, plus the moon phase thing (how the heck does their moon go through a full set of phases in less than a week, anyway?). I'll probably continue to concentrate on FFIV DS for now, then play through all of After Years once all the DLC is available.
My Backloggery Updated sporadically. Got my important online ID's on there, anyway. :P
I'm planning on getting this...having beaten the original (again) on VC, is it worth getting them all at once or just starting out getting the first main game then adding DLC as I complete them one by one?
I know it's expensive an all...but if it has alot of content in each episode I don't mind spacing it out as long as I am willing to play this game.
I'm getting really sick of all these "Episode" games. When you put "Episode 1" in front of a game, it sounds like you are buying a portion of a game. Each game needs to have an ending, and each needs to have it's own unique name. If you want to continue on the same storyline that's fine, but make each game a game of its own.
I loved this game. Hopefully they do more stuff like this! That being said, i think it's really for very hardcore fans of the original game only, which I guess is obvious _ Well worth the price IMO
They should release FF4: The After Years on the DS for $30. It'll be cheaper (a bit), and you could take it on the go, amd get them all in one shot without having all those things take up space.
