Disney licensing Mickey and Goofy for the deranged and depraved? Ridiculous. They have spent literally billions of dollars polishing their image to what it is today. In fact, if this gets a bit more exposure, I wouldn't be surprised if they drop the hammer on the concept art. I don't believe "fair use" would cover mark infringement in pursuit of commercial interest.

Notice that Disney's management was changed in 2006 (same year this project was started), and now creative decisions are controlled by John Lasseter. Lasseter is the genius behind the Pixar, and reason why Disney has stopped doing sequels to its classics, there is no Tempation Island in Disneyland anymore, and Princess and the Frog is being done.

Image is from Kingdom Hearts, Halloween Town.
I think Disney need to renew his characters. Maybe this (like Kingdom Hearts) is one step for captivate hard boys and a more adult public. The new and the artworks are more than a simple rumour.
@Majora: There's a fine line between deranged and dressed up for Halloween. And looking at the concept art, the artists know the difference. You do too, admit it.
HOLY CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That scared the crap out of me. There's no way that Disney would do that. I bet it's for Kingdom Hearts 3.
Right. I bet they'll call it Mickey's Magical Adventure Through Hypocrisy.
i would buy that game in a hot minute. no lie. having lived in Orlando and worked for The Mouse, I would love to see the in-jokes and stuff they could cram into a title like that, and I know all my friends and former co-workers would too.
BEST THREAD EVER future of NL >:3

[16:44] LztheBlehBird: James doesn't know the rules? For shame!!!
Really Dragon? I used to visit my brother all the time when he was a "cast member." Wild times. I too would buy this game - but just can't see the image of a crumbling iconic Epcot Center ever seeing the light of day, officially.
EDIT: Also, if this game were to ever get made, HD would be the way to go - imagine the details you could cram in there.

lol I don't get why everyone is saying that Disney would never approve this or allow this and will clamp down on copyright infringement etc. etc.
I hope you do realise that Disney OWNS this game developer... this game has been made for Disney, under the supervision of Disney, and in collaboration with Disney. You only haven't heard of it before because Disney made Spector sign a contract not to say anything, because they're publishing this game.
Seems the art leaked from freelance artists who had done work for Junction Point. They retain the rights to their own artwork, and decided to post it on their websites as part of their portfolio in conjunction with their resumés in order to promote themselves.
Oh well, you know these artistic types. This is exactly the reason why Shah Jahan killed or blinded all his architects and builders after they finished the Taj Mahal.
