I downloaded the Internet Channel when it was in Beta. I kept it for free.
I then purchased the Internet Channel for my parents once they got their Wii hooked up. I used my account and my Wii points for the purchase.

Did Nintendo specify what would happen in this scenario?

By my interpretation, I should be getting an NES game for MY Wii.

So, you gave it as a gift? By using the gift option in the shop channel?
If so, you have to wait until Nintendo comes with more information.

Yep, I gotta wait for more info also. I bought the IC but I also gifted the IC to my friend so hopefully I'll get the game but if not, he's prepared to give me the game if possible. If not, I'm not gonna be upset.
