Just discovered that one of my wiimotes doesn´t register any tilting anymore. Couldn´t use my wiiwheel Has actually never heard of any broken wiimotes before. Have you broken any wiimote and what function stopped working? Could you get it working again?

I would try removing the batteries, then putting them back in and resyncing the wiimote to the Wii, I think that is what the Wii Troubleshooting suggests anyway.

Both my Wiimotes are on their last legs. They have trouble with any add-ons (Nunchuk, Classic) and the pointer will randomly go out on both of them. Lot of hassle to play games with them sometimes. I need to buy two new ones, but I'm short on cash right now.

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.

Thou strange as its might sound try this fix .
Hold your Wii Remote upside down in one hand then slam it fairly hard into the palm of your other hand & from what i heard it might free up the moving parts inside the accelorometer .

I also had some problems with my remote a while back. At a forum a guy suggested exactly what Kawaii suggested. So I did it and it worked!!! Try it.

I slammed the wiimote into my hand and now it works. Great. I also tried resyncing it with the red buttons... didn´t work. A small tip to any other trying this... take off any rings you have on your fingers. I didn´t

My pointer's just started giving me problems. It keeps disappearing if I move it away from the screen and then right back. Maybe it has a scratch...

Using rechargeable batteries can damage you remotes if they get overcharged.
I've got one that’s faulty, similar issue to TwilightV.

My friend has a remote that he accidently hit his light fitting with whilst swinging it around, this left a deep gauge across the black end piece over the infrared sensor and this has made the pointer function useless on this wiimote.

One of my Wiimote's speaker is getting there, it comes out fairly fuzzy sometimes. This probably came from the story of Mr. Wiimote meeting Mr. Armrest

The most minlicious of them all.

Everyone with pointer problems, check for light-source problems around your TV. If there is a window, blinds, or a lightbulb shining behind / beside your TV, the pointer can get confused.
