I see it doesn't have a very good name to it. I really wish I could try it out, all the videos make it look so awesome, I can't get over it. But I've only got 1800 points left... Can a get a nostalgic look back from its purchasers?

I didn't think it was awful... but it was close. I got to the last level before giving up. I had thought multi-player would make it better, but it actually made it less fun, somehow. Some levels, including very early ones, are inhumanly difficult due to the terrible controls and cheap level design. Not a bad concept, but a truly pitiful execution that ought to have warned anyone who played it what a mediocre developer HVS is.
I'm tempted by it because it looks so pretty and the control scheme seems similar to that used in ColorZ, but having only one ship should make it easier to play. The 1000 points it will cost me is the main thing holding me back because I know I'll have good VC options on the Japanese Wii that are certainties for less.
It blows. Plain and simple. There's just little to no fun to be had...you drive around awkwardly, collecting things that mostly don't matter, the level designs start out decent and get worse, and it's just generally irritatingly trial-and-error-ish to get decent times on levels....if it would've been cheaper some of those issues may have been forgivable, but it's just another blemish on HVS's depressing software catalog.
Again, when you play a game, you have to get some sort of joy from playing the game....I just had this constant feeling of "man I just wish this was over". I made it to the last level, and aggrievedly beat it after a billion retries just to prove to myself I could do it, but it is the only game I have ever deleted from my Wii. Every other VC or WiiWare game is on SD or the console, so that should tell you something.

Haha its De Blob all over again.`

I'm always a little suspicious of High Voltage Solution games. Bright, crisp visuals and a lot of hype. But their games consistently end up being 6 to 7/10 category as if they've aimed for that (imho).
"They say video games are bad for you? That's what they said about rock n' roll."
