Amazon and select free super saver shipping? If so which date does it say yours will ship? I ordered it and it says mine won't ship until May 28th. It's my first time ordering a game off of there (I've ordered TV's etc. off of there), and I couldn't pass up the $20 game credit. I know the game comes out on a Sunday, but does super saver shipping usually ship out the day the game comes out (or in this case the next day since it's released on a Sunday) or a few days later? Or will the date change as the release date gets closer? It says it takes 5-9 days for delivery using super saver shipping.
Super Saver Shipping = free shipping = last to get it. I've got it on next-day delivery and it'll be in my mailbox on Tuesday because the post office doesn't operate on Sunday.
I ordered it for the $20 game credit and used free shipping. No use in paying for shipping when free shipping usually gets me my stuff in 3 days at the longest, or even less. One of the biggest Amazon distribution centers is 15 minutes from where I live, lol. Ordered two books and a DS game last week from Amazon on a Thursday morning, used free shipping, got them Friday afternoon from the mailman. I laugh in the face of overnight shipping, mwhahahaha.
I pre-ordered mine a few weeks ago and it said the 28th since then.
If anything like my Batman AA pre-order it took about 2 weeks after release to arrive. My Blue Wii-mote pre-order with FSSS took about a week after release.
Also not a Pre-Order but Mario Kart Wii said was was gonna be a week after ordering to even ship out. Instead it arrived 3 days before it was supposed to ship. So in the end its a tough tell because it could ship out even before the 28th.
Since I need to beat SMG1 i'm really in no rush to get the game, just got it for the $20 game discount which I'll be applying to Metroid: Other M
Kevohki, you're lucky. Heck you could just drop by and pick it up if they would let you lol. Thanks for the help guys, I guess it will be shipping on the 28th (keeping my fingers crossed that it's sooner).
I bought a reservation card at Target. It costs $1, and when you bring the card back to pick up your game, you get a $5 target gift card.
That's what I usually do, but a $20 gift card at amazon is pretty sweet. Games are usually a buck or two cheaper there to boot plus no tax. I don't mind waiting a few days for free shipping; it is usually much quicker than they say. Plus, it's not like I don't have other games I haven't finished yet anyways to keep me occupied. People are happy if their shipment arrives quickly and angry if it arrives late, I'm guessing they just over estimate the shipping to cover their butt in case there's a backlog or something (either way, it's better than the 3-4 week waits I deal with now from Playasia, stupid China Post).

GameStop is also offering a $20 credit if you pre-order online. As far as I know you can do in-store pickup and still get the credit, so I switched over to that instead. Had to pay an extra $2.50 in tax, but whatever, same-day service and $20 sounds good to me.
Yeah!!!!!!!!!!! My order shipped out today and now says a delivery estimate of June 1st. Im pretty stoked about getting earlier than I thought.

Yeah , they must have did that. Dang, im more excited about this game than I was Red Dead Redemption and I was pretty high on RDR. I haven't even played it in a couple of days, cause I've been playing SMG1 getting warmed up for SMG2 lol.
