I have mine reserver at GameStop, I don't know how I found out I had it reserved at GameStop since middle of last year, I guess I did that when it was announced at last year's E3.

I have mine pre ordered online as well, but I went to Gamestop today and picked one up in person at full price. When my copy comes in the mail I'll return it with the full price receipt (since it will be within 30 days). This way I get the great price ($37.50 + $20 Gift Card) and I also get to enjoy the game right away. I do realize that I am out an extra $50 until my copy arrives in the mail and I return it, but it's 100% worth it to me!!!

Kinda sucks about the July 31st date, I wonder If I can apply it to Metroid: Other M even though it won't be out till the end of august....Time to hit up Amazon customer support

Yeah, you should be able to use for Metroid. I just pre-ordered Mafia 2 and it let me use it. It doesn't come out until August 24th and Metroid comes out August 31st. I also got $10 credit with Mafia 2, so that will be going on Metroid.

It let me use in on the pre-order anyways, can't wait for Metroid: Other M! Just beat Super Metroid like a week ago for the first time, Then beat Metroid Zero Mission a 2nd time. I just need to play through the Primes at this point.
As for Amazon. good deals! I had found Mario Kart new a few weeks ago for 39.99 w/$10 promo credit. I used the $10 credit on Super Mario Galaxy 2 that came with the $20 credit, and now using that on Metroid: Other M, so for about $110 I'll get 3 good games!
not that it's any mystery now, but amazon gives wildly inaccurate shipping estimates because people are liable to complain if their orders don't arrive by the dates they're given, so they make sure to give a long timeframe that's impossible for them to miss.
i preordered red steel 2 and they shipped it one day early, and they've done the same for galaxy 2. my red steel arrived on tuesday, really hoping galaxy is the same! the local stores never have titles the day they're released anyway, so i don't mind the wait.
I pre-ordered from gamestop.com when a 25% coupon worked for pre-orders. Plus I got a $20 credit. That worked out to $39.74 shipped (after tax), and got a $20 coupon off future purchase, which I just used to order a used copy of Super Street Fighter IV 360 for $2.64 shipped (after tax, minus coupon and 10% discount for Edge card), which will give me another $10 coupon. Awesome.
I picked free shipping and it still came today. Not bad eh?
Not too shabby. I talked to my local USPS office yesterday and I told them to make sure my package gets here, cause they've been sending my mail back from where it came from. And if they do that with SMG2, I might have to go strangle somebody lol. He said he would leave a note to the mailman to get it delivered (I hope he does). Anyways, he said it would be delivered on Wednesday, which is tomorrow. It better come lol, Last time I tracked it, it was in Atlanta at 12:12 a.m.. So, I guess it's on schedule for delivery tomorrow, since I live about 4 hours away from ATL.
I used the Walmart deal because the $20 credit does not expire, but at any rate, I am just now getting the game (Friday) with free shipping, so it seems Walmart took longer than any other option.
