Burgertime alone is reason enough for me to put $20 down on this. The other games are just icing on the cake.
I third this opinion, Burgertime is amazing! I'll be very interested to see how they dealt with the rotary controller from Heavy Barrel, one of my fave Data East games. Always a pain to emulate that. On MAME I end up using two face buttons on my controller for clockwise/anti-clockwise rotation and it's a bit awkward; hopefully they were able to do better.
Heavy Barrel is all i needed to hear i love this game , its way better than ikari warriors. its so funny i was talking to my brother and i said member when we use to play that one game way back. we couldnt remember it for anything , then last week i go on nintendo channel and hes data east as if they had to bring a dream to life. i also want that slam dunk game is that on there as well ?

No game by that name (and G-Mode doesn't seem to have a game with that title in the Data East IP list), but there's a game called Street Hoop in the collection -- could be part of the same series?
Video Games Plus says 09 February for release still (delayed from an original January launch). I'm hoping I'll get an email Monday telliing me my order is on its way!
FYI, a little late, but I got the notification it's posted today. With any luck I'll have it next week, so it should be something I can shoehorn between reviewing Super Monkey Ball and the new Bleach game.
So ends a saga older than time itself. The World's oldest and fiercest army has been led to victory, and a lost generation is delivered from its fear of extinction. As the sun sets over the field of conflict the dinosaurs disperse, hoping never to set foot in this place a...

Well, I remember it always giving me a headache when I tried to play it on the Game Boy (to be honest I always had a low tolerance for the original GB screen).
I'm going to make a shocking confession. For years, I thought the game Heavy Barrel was made by SNK, not Data East. Now I'm fully corrected I can let the healing begin.
Anyway they should have included Bloody Wolf. I played the TG-16 version and its really fun. The arcade version would have been a nice game to include on this collection mostly because it retains the co-op mode.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure I said something along those lines earlier in the thread. Expect it in the next couple of weeks (assuming they didn't post it by sea from Canada)!
