I want to get a Gamecube controller to play VC games and games like Mario Kart and SSBB, I want either a Wavebird or an White Gamecube controller from play-asia, the Wavebird is wireless but has no rumble, and the white liscened nintendo controller has a 10 ft cord. which should i get? I like how the white GCN controller matches the Wii too.

I'd get the white corded one, but it's up to you. I'm in need of a GC memory card I can't find one around here unfortunately.
Wavebird, hands down. Unless you're more interested in having a matching controller. The Wavebird is one of the best controllers ever made period, even despite the lack of rumble.
BTW, anyone looking for Wavebirds (they are hard to find sometimes these days), i recently saw a bunch in stock at Wal*Mart (a couple dozen), so that'd be a palce to start looking.
^^^ Very true about the battery life. I rarely have to change batteries (maybe once every few months, if even that often), and i use my Wavebird pretty regularly.
I have had a wavebird before and I really liked it I, think I will get the white one just beacuse it is an import item and it looks great, it will be the only thing with a cord i have but the cord is 10ft long so thats good. I will probable get a wavebird sometime in the future. as far as GC memory cards go I have gotten official nintendo 1019 memory cards new unopened from amazon for $13.
I have the white GC controller and it is absolutely brilliant. The cord is so long that it may as well be wireless. How far away are you going to sit?! What, you want to do jumping jacks while playing? I don't know how anyone can give up rumble. Giving up rumble is for Sony fanboys, sooo pre-2007.
Wavebird is also nearly 200 g lighter, so it doesn't have the same feel to it. Why would you give up rumble for a bulkier controller that doesn't match and has no weight to it and will be yet another device that requires and eats up your batteries?
White is Right. Grey is Ugl-ey. Without Rumble You'll Fumble. Without a Wire Your Batteries Will Expire (Cuz They're Required.)

LOL!! I'm Sold! I wanted to know if the 10ft cord was long enough, and I guess it is! I getting the white one!!
Ya the other GC controller I had was the older (and shorter) length. It was responsible for my Wii being yanked off the shelf during a particularly exciting moment while playing Pikmin (it was almost dark and all my lil guys weren't back home safe! They were stuck under the bridge!)
But the white GC controller has a longer cord and it really does make a difference. I sit quite far back from the tv and do stupid motions when I use the GC controller and it's fine. And it is so pretty.
I don't really know what the big deal is with rumble I had two rumble packs with my N64 and I never used them. When the GCN game out the built-in rumble was pretty freaking sweet, but it's not that big of a deal. I use the wavebird. It feels perfect.
