Why can't the US Club give us what Japan has, and what do you think the Gold and Platinum Rewards should be for 2010 ?!?

Well Club.Nintendo US has been a little low last year I'm hopeing that this year they'll put a golden Wii wheel or Game & Watch Collection 2 & start putting towel's & clothing.

Or the Super Famicon controller for the Wii. >.>

I just want something good on which to spend my points. After getting the Wiimote holder, there's hasn't been anything I want.

The last thing i got from Club Nintendo was the Poster set of Zelda otherwise nothing interests me at all. Until i see something awe inspiring Club Nintendo kinda is dead to me sadly.

Be patient, guys! Our Club Nintendo is relatively new. In retrospect, we should be thankful we even have a Club Nintendo at all!

I agree. If I put any of that Club Nintendo stuff on my desk at work, forget about any more promotions or raises. If I put it on my desk at home, forget about any more wife or sex.

Club Nintendo offers nothing intresting to me except for the Punch-Out Doc Louis game for WiiWare (which I didn't get). For the most part, Club Nintendo sucks.

I still kick myself for not joining in time to get the freakin' Mario hat. I think they should at least give us that Game and Watch Collection for DS as a Gold or Platinum gift instead of chargin' 800 points for it. That's like 16 Wii games for one DS game!!

I had Platinum ranking for the last Club Nintendo year, and just received Gold membership for this year. A few more games and I"ll have Platinum rank once again!

Platinum was easy to get, even though i threw away almost all those little things that gave you the code

And some questions, do you have to pay coins for your platinum rewards? or are they free? and do you have to get platinum again next year, or if you still have the 600 coins after the next year, do you keep your platinum status?

Answers: 1. They are free. 2. Your coins and status are drained after the year is over. (Maybe not coins, idk) But yes, you have to work back up to Platinum.

It doesn't cost anything so why the moaning about it? If you buy a game just to get points to get something that's pretty stupid. It's just a little fun little thing that hasn't been done in video games since Activision used to give out patches for certain achievements in their games.

It's true that Japan will always get better premiums than anyone else but that's just a symptom of Japanese companies believing Japan is the center of the universe (even if most of their sales come from overseas). But like I said, it's free stuff.

Also, the coins last 2 years after obtaining them with the oldest being used first if you order something.

Yeah I got platinum when I registered NSMBW, so yeah, I'm looking foward to seeing what the rewards will be this year. I'm hoping to see Super Mario All-Stars VC as an exclusive club Nintendo release to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the original SMB. I'd also really like to start seeing soundtrack CDs as well, seeing as everyone else seems to have them. Assuming Super Mario Galaxy 2 is released by the end of June, maybe a soundtrack to that as a platinum reward, hmm NOA? So far I've only spent coins on the Hanafuda cards and the Zelda Poster Set, so I haven't been too impressed with the rewards either.

I do have to say the posters are really nice. Not your typical thin poster paper but actual theater poster paper so they'll hold up.

I like Club Nintendo, but I agree their rewards are lacking. I got a DS game holder w/ the stylus colors, DS holder itself and the Zelda posters. I'm starting to run out of things to spend my coins on. I'm hoping for some figurines or some kind of a replica for the platinum status this year. Of course a master sword replica would be a dream come true.

As long as we're dreaming, make it life-size and made from stainless steel, and throw in the pedestal as a holder. THAT would be the awesomest free gift ever!
